On May 14-15, May 2018 at Hotel Gardena, the first two-day practical training “Preparation for export of food industry companies” was held at 10:00 hrs after the project “Export accelerator for small and medium enterprises”, financed by the EU , implemented by the Organization of Employers of Macedonia (ORM) and the Institute SPFERA-NOVA. The purpose of the training is to raise the competitiveness of companies by strengthening the capacities of companies for export. The project focuses on the export of the food processing industry, raising the export capacity and opening new export opportunities.
The project aims to produce Business Analyzes for export opportunities on regional markets for the food processing industry, training for export of companies and for technical readiness, new skills and knowledge for export, interactive web platform for export and mobile application, demo small projects for export of selected products from the food processing industry. The project has an innovative approach and will strengthen support for export of specific products, which will provide direct benefits for the companies involved.
The project envisages two multi-day trainings (primary and advanced level) for export. Trainings and mentoring sessions for capacity building and knowledge transfer for sustainable export promotion and delivery will strengthen export and knowledge capacity for business owners and entrepreneurs. The lecturers and mentors are experienced practitioners and experts with professional experience in theoretical knowledge and practical and real situations. For the same purpose, an SME Export Handbook is being prepared to serve as a document that will enhance sustainability. The specific benefits would be direct expert support in the diagnosis and preparation of the export procedure and documentation, accompanying export activities (analyzes, new markets, contacts with distribution networks, etc.).
The project “Export accelerator for small and medium enterprises”, financed by the EU, will be implemented by the Organization of Employers of Macedonia (ORM) and the Institute for dynamic development SPFERA-NOVA in the next 24 months.
