The Economic and Social Council meet on 28th of March 2011 on the fifth session which was attended by four representatives from ORM, the President of the Economic and Social Council and Minister of Labour and Social Policy, Mr. Xhelal Bajrami and the other members of the Council. At this meeting, the following was considered by ESS: the Draft Law Amending the Law on Labor Relations and Information on participation of a delegation of the Republic of Macedonia at the 100th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva in June 2011. The President of the ESC, informed the members that the purpose of the amendments are proceeding and complying with the Decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Macedonia, concretization and precision of certain provisions of the law, according to the proposals and conclusions of the Economic and Social Council and changes regarding the misdemeanour provisions, in order to uniform the approach in their application by the commissions and the courts.
