The Organization of Employers of Macedonia, on Friday, November 16, 2018, held its regular 49th session of the Management Board. The session was chaired by the President of OEM, Mr. Angel Dimitrov. The session reviewed and discussed the following items on the agenda:

– Addressing of the Director of Employment Agency (EA), Mrs. Biljana Jovanovska – cooperation of employers from OEM with EA;

– Notification for the proposed amendments to the Labor Law and and the OSH Law;

– Notification of the course of the procedure for initiation of negotiations for the change and amendments of the General Collective Agreement (GCA) for the economy;

– Information regarding the implementation for the two projects within the IPA program, where OEM has the role of main carrier and a partner.

– Other.

Under the item of other, the board of OEM reviewed the decision of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia’s to introduce a progressive tax, and a joint position of OEM was established. The President of OEM will present the joint position on this issue at the next session of the National Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Macedonia.
