The Organization of employers of Macedonia  and the Centre for economic and social development – CESOR in cooperation with the regional development agency of Bratislava of Slovakia have  organized 5 day training starting from the 18th till the 23rd of February 2013, for professionals who perform preparation for unemployed  through the counseling and career guidance. The training for the participants from  the non-governmental and from public sector enabled them to learn from the Slovakian experience and from the appliance of the European credit system for professional education as well. Hence, this enables them qualifications recognition gained from the informal education that is the essential  ground for reforms ofemployment increasing with wider mobility on the European labour market assisted by the internet platform EURES of the employment centers in the EU countries. Special focus on the training was given for the vulnerable groups that are facing with long-term unemployment, i.e. more than one year as persons over 45 years , 56 % from the total number unemployed in May 2012 and young from 15-29 years , 31 % from the total number of unemployed in May 2012.

Macedonia as a candidate-country for EU membership is particularly affected from the reform process in EU, especially those regarding the employment and those who are long-term problem for our society. This training was part of the project “ Creation of the Conditions for Using the Reform Tools of EU in Macedonia via Transfer of Slovak Experiences” .
