The objectives of the seminar were: Presentation of EU social dialogue and its results and the role of European and national organizations;
– Condition of collective bargaining at the national level and tools for implementation and monitoring of EU social dialogue;
– Benefits from outside the EU and international representatives and examples of national and sectoral social partners from other countries;
– Focus on future activities and cooperation between social partners, national monitoring of the best way to build the capacity of social partners.
The seminar is held separate meetings with employers and unions and joint plenary sessions.

During the seminar, participants agreed that the region is lagging behind in terms of social dialogue in terms of countries with a long tradition in the field of social dialogue. With the assistance of the ILO and the use of best practices from abroad need to accelerate and enhance the dialogue in Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia.
It was noted that in future on a such workshops it is necessary  the representatives of governments to be  invited, because, their participation in a social dialogue as a third partner is extremely important.
