World Day for Safety and Health at Work was celebrated by the award for best practices in safety and health at work.

The winners in the two categories   are ,

Imperial Tobacco TKS (medium companies)
Marble Kombinat  Prilep (large companies)
Skopje Brewery (large companies).

Macedonian Association for Occupational Safety and Health organized the ceremony and congratulated the winners of the national awards for good practice in health and safety at work, with a message that this would be another incentive for other companies to apply and promote good practices of security and health.
From Organization of Employers of Macedonia at the  National Awards Event Ms. Belinda Nikolovska, executive director,  said “In a past few years  the organization actively cooperate with the Macedonian Association of Occupational Safety and health at work, also in the adoption and implementation of the Law on Safety and Health at work. We cooperate in educating and informing the employers in order to raise awareness among employers and employees about the importance of prevention in enabling secure jobs, “. Regarding  the Awards Ms. Nikolovska added: “ In the awarding committee  the ORM participated with official member in the selection of the best companies organized by the Macedonian Association for Occupational Safety and I am are very glad because the 3 honored winners are our members.
