On 30.09.2024, a working meeting was held with the President of the European Economic and Social Committee-Oliver Ropke.
The meeting discussed the role of social partners and social dialogue, as well as the role of civil society. The President of the European Economic and Social Committee also emphasized the commitment to reactivate the Consultative Committee, which, according to the Workbook:
– works to create a basis for the enlargement of the European Union through promotion between economic and social interest groups on both sides.
– covers all economic and social issues related to the Stabilization and Association Agreement.
– may give opinions in the form of reports or conclusions or through other appropriate activities.
The meeting was attended by Tamara Risteska as a representative of OEM.
