The first meeting was held on May 17 in Rome, Italy. The event was attended by representatives of the leading organization – F “SIV” – “Podkrepa”, as well as the partner organizations from SUTKOZ, the Maltese trade union GWU, FEMCA CISL from Italy, the Union of Water and Sewage Operators in Bulgaria (SVikORB) and ORM – Organization of employers of Macedonia. Also a part of this event were the Deputy President Jordan Jordanov, Federal Secretary Plamena Parteniotis and legal expert Desislava Janeva. During the meeting, each working group presented the national reports of the respective country, presenting the concept of social dialogue in the water and sanitation sector. The national report for North Macedonia was presented by Donna Dimov Markovska on behalf of ORM and SUTKOZ. Based on these documents, the strong and weak reference points for each country were identified, as well as future steps to improve the level of dialogue in the field of water supply.
