In the International Training Centre in Turin with the support of ILO from 19.09 to 23.09.2011 a training “Initiatives for local economic development” was organised for the municipalities of Krusevo, Prilep and Resen.
The training was attended by eight representatives from the employers of these municipalities in the sectors of tourism and food processing, representatives of the trade union and the mayors of these municipalities.
At a tripartite level it was concluded that it is necessary to establish local economic and social councils, and they should be seen as a place for a local social dialogue, i.e. as a sector for creating job opportunities and development of the enterprises.
