As a result of the successful cooperation thus far the Organization of Employers of Macedonia and our active involvement with a number of proposed measures were accepted and implemented by the Centre for Vocational Education and Training – VET yesterday at the VET Centre President Mr.Angel Dimitrov received acknowledgment for the successful cooperation.
To extend our mutual fruitful cooperation for the successful development of vocational education and training, and thus to rapid economic and social development of our country and renew the Memorandum of Understanding signed with VET in 2010.
President Dimitrov said that cooperation is of great importance and is an opportunity to share ideas, initiatives and proposals for improvement of vocational education and training in the country, increasing competitiveness and resolving certain challenges that will enable successful coopperation.The fundamental challenges of our country is unemployment, and under-skilled labor work force so  we must  seriously take in our mind  how to bridge this problem.
Employers are those who create and open new jobs, but the education institutions are  educate the staff that will work on those positions.
Currently there is a large discrepancy between the needs of the economy and the supply of labor. Students have almost no practical skils.The employers are  not sufficiently interested in the practical training of pupils and that situation should be eliminate by  stimulated and employers and mentors.
It is necessary to create a common base of the Vocational Education centar of  mentors in enterprises.
