At the initiative of EVN Macedonia, with the support of the heating company Toplifikacija and the refinery OKTA, yesterday (03/11/2011) was formed the Energy Association of Private Sector Employers within ORM. The new association is representative and covers over 70% of employees in this business sector, it was set up in order to advocate the members interests in the branch within the scope of the economic and social sphere, i.e. labor relations and safety at work, contributions for compulsory social insurance, collective bargaining, arbitration and mediation, legal changes affecting this branch.
President of the Association is Werner Hengst, president of the board of EVN Macedonia, who said that the social dialogue at all levels is a very important issue and that the country from which he comes stakeholders pay great attention to the social dialogue.
