ADDRESS OF THE PRESIDENT OF OEM

Vladanka Trajkoska,

Dear,

Allow me at the beginning to express my gratitude for the trust expressed to the members of the Assembly of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia.

It is a special honor and pleasure for me that at a Session of the Assembly of the Organization of Employers held on 09.06.2021 I was elected as a President of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia. It is a confirmation of my work so far in OEM, as a member of the Board of Directors.

I believe that the trust that has been given to me will fully justify it and will motivate me even more and will increase my commitment to even greater joint successes of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia.
I believe that the trust that has been given to me will fully justify it and will motivate me even more and will increase my commitment to even greater joint successes of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia.

The Organization of Employers of Macedonia is the only representative organization of employers from the private sector that unites 15 sectors and as such has the legitimacy to negotiate and conclude a General Collective Agreement for the private sector, which can participate in tripartite social partnership bodies (Employers, Trade Union and Government – Economic and Social Council), which is an equal partner in creating economic and social policy in the Republic of North Macedonia.

From the very beginning of my membership in the Organization of Employers of Macedonia, I was aware of the responsibility of employers in building policies for economic development and conducting social dialogue at all levels, to create a better working climate. Now, as President, I am ready to listen to the demands of the Employers, to jointly build our positions and to formulate policy, reaching a consensus for the common good.

My objectives in the mandate will be primarily to transparently represent the interests of Employers in general and social partnership in particular, collective bargaining, concluding and implementing the General Collective Agreement for the economy in the Republic of North Macedonia and Collective Bargaining at the level of activities.

Together with my Team – The Members of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia, the Vice Presidents and the Executive Office and in direct cooperation with the previous President of the Organization of Employers, and now the President of the Assembly of the Organization of Employers Mr. Angel Dimitrov, we will work to create measures and policies in which the Organization of Employers of Macedonia will be an active participant, as well as to promote social dialogue with all stakeholders, in order for the Republic of North Macedonia to have a developed and sustainable economy.

With that, I will contribute to performing the function and achieving the set goals – to be a respectable social partner worthy of promoting the dialogue with the Trade Unions and the Government, but also to intensify the cooperation with other partners in the country and abroad.

Thank you,
Vladanka Trajkoska, President of OEM
