Organization of employers of Macedonia (OEM) as the sole representative organization of employers in the tripartite negotiation with the Government and trade unions through the Economic and Social Council as an advisory body to the Government, which reviews the amendments and supplements to the laws of the economic and social spheres, on Labor Relations and the Law on Minimum Wages, on September 18 organized a half-day consultation on the following topics at the Hotel Porta:
– “What are the last changes in the Law on Labor Relations”
– “Problems faced by employers in practice with the Law on Labor Relations and the Law on Minimum Wage”
– “Financial support for salary growth in a higher amount than the minimum wage”
– “Procedure for adopting a new Law on Labor Relations”
The purpose of the counseling was initially out of practice, the participants were introduced to the latest amendments to labor law. Lecturers were Angel Dimitrov, President of the Organization of Workers of Macedonia and Mirjanka Aleksevska, Head of the Department for policy creation in the area of labor law and employment policies at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. Fifteen company representatives, some of them OEM members, took part in the consultations. The participants were representatives from companies that face this issues on daily level (from legal sectors, human resources, managers and owners).
