The two-day workshop within the EU project “Technical assistance for the preparation of a comprehensive strategy for education 2016-2020.” Interests of employers presented in his speech the president of OEМ  Mr. Angel Dimitrov noted that

Each of these pillars (Institutions, Infrastructure, Macroeconomics, Health and Primary Education, Higher education and training, market efficiency of goods market efficiency Workforce Effectiveness of financial markets, technological readiness, market size, business sophistication, innovation is of varying importance for different countries depending on the level of economic development. on this basis, the model of which rank them based GCI economies in three different stages of development:
-phase of the economies are driven by traditional factors of production (2,000 USD)
– The stage where the economies are driven by performance (3,000 to 9,000 USD)
(At this stage competitiveness increases with education and training, effective market a good, well-functioning labor market, sophisticated financial markets, the opportunity to place the production of large domestic or foreign market, and the ability to use the benefits of the latest technology. ) and
– The stage where the economies are driven by innovation -over 17,000 USD, a lot of money for research and development.

Education strategy 2016-2020 is quite comprehensive, but will take a lot of work to overcome all challenges and improve overall condition.
Organization of Employers of Macedonia(OEM) pays special attention to cooperation with educational institutions and believes that cooperation between employers and educational institutions must be increased. We believe that the cooperation between universities and the business community should be permanent and the development of programs that should be adopted.
OEM also participated in the preparation of:
– National Qualifications Framework better basis on which further work should be done,
-Strategy For Entrepreneurial Learning,
-Preparation of Curriculum for vocational education.
But consultation with employers should be made only if you are working on a project with foreign consultants.
Strong and durable partnerships between education, science and business.
So far registered 52 companies-providers for training of unemployed which issue certificates recognized by the state.
Good Practices is by the company – EVN They have 5 years experience in training youth in electrical engineering and humanities
Employers are not sufficiently interested in the practical training of pupils should be stimulated and employers and mentors.
It is necessary to create a common base of the Vocational Education mentors in enterprises.
Employers are those who create and open new jobs, and education should educate staff who will work on those positions.
Currently there is a large discrepancy between the needs of the economy and the supply of labor. Students have almost no practical skills.
Politics “all pupils on faculty” returned no results. The criteria for university enrollment must be raised to a higher level.
Fell and quality of secondary and higher education .Ne problem only in the curriculum but the policy that everyone should end.
Vocational education does not attract enough students.
In Macedonia  currently waiting for a job with university degree  13 146 unemployed , 890 with Masters and 31 Doctors.
It requires professional orientation as early as primary education and promotion of Vocational education.
You have to establish a good system to forecast skills-forecasts for occupations that will be required in the medium and long term to create policies for education and training that will respond to needs the economy.
Non-formal Education and Adult Education for a small country like Macedonia cent is also very important.

Minister Mr. Lutfiu wished hoping to be worked out best practices for building partnerships and our earth from the European Union.
The Minister Lutfiu said that Macedonia is an opportunity to build a system where learning outcomes for young people and adults acquire during their life, in formal and informal that  will be validated and certified.
Noted that the electoral approach to work permits effective policies to boost employment and that only with an economy based on knowledge and better training of investigating young people and adults will influence to reduce unemployable.A new organizational structure will enable the provision of sound and effective financial management and allocation of resources to implement educational policies and monitoring of new  education strategy. I believe that the business community, trade unions, educational institutions partners in recent years their interests recognized in future system for recognition of non-formal and informal learning.

The workshop was attended by representatives of the EU, representatives of municipalities, schools, universities, social partners, educational institutions, donors and organizations  involved in this project and all state institutions.
